The inaugural Music Conference Asia (M.C.Asia) Music Factory “The Beginning”, held at the stylish grounds of Life Centre Kuala Lumpur this evening, has successfully attracted conference participants, both industry professionals and music enthusiasts of the Electronic Dance Music, from the region, including Singapore, Indonesia, Australia, Japan and Thailand just to name a few.
The fervent crowd was seen to filling the conference ground as early at 4pm for the two music mentoring workshops presented by Canadian Producer, DJ and Label Owner, DJ Preach, and World’s Top 100 DJ, Marcel Woods from the Netherlands.
For the first time in Asia Pacific, conference participants received first hand introduction and guidance from Preach and Marcel about the professional world of music production, and those eager to crave a professional career in the music industry, have also gained valuable insights from the veterans of the international music industry.
Specifically, during the first workshop – “Life On The Road, The Ultimate DJ Experience” , DJ Preach spoke on three key topics including the “Marketing Strategy for Professional DJs”, “The Love-hate Relationship between Technology and Traditional DJ-ing”, and “Knowing Your Tools to be the One in Music Production”. In the second workshop – “Musical Madness, The Evolution of Music Label” Marcel Woods discussed on “The Evolution of Music Label Businesses In Today’s Market”, “The Challenges in the Digital Age”, and “Artist development and Music Label Promotions”.
At the end of the day-time workshops, ardent music lovers and media representatives were also given the exclusive opportunity to interact with Preach and Marcel on a personal level to explore related topics through random group discussion.
