Richard Durand (Artist)

One of the hottest new DJ / producers to emerge from Holland in recent years is Richard Durand. Recommended by Tiësto as his 'Tip For The Top in 2007' in DJ Magazine, consistent stunning productions and show stopping festival performances have cemented Richard's place as a fans favourite worldwide and a permanent fixture in the DJ Mag Top 100 DJs poll.

Initially famed for his remixes which included remakes of Tiësto and Armin van Buuren amongst others, Richard released his debut artist album 'Always The Sun' on Magik Muzik / Black Hole Recordings in 2009 and followed this up in 2011 with his second album 'Wide Awake'.

In 2010 he took over the legendary 'In Search Of Sunrise' series of CDs, compiling and mixing 'In Search Of Sunrise 8 - South Africa' later that year to huge acclaim from the music press and dance fans alike, with 'In Search Of Sunrise 9 - India' following in 2011 and the landmark 10th release in the series due in May 2012 and accompanied by a world tour. Also due this year is 'Richard Durand vs The World', his third artist album and an album like no other as one continent at a time, Richard will be collaborating with both established and new producer talent before the September release.

Julie Thompson has been singing, songwriting and playing the piano since the age of 14 and in recent years has established herself as a leading international artist who has worked with A-list producers such as Tiësto, Freestylers, James Holden, Freemasons, Richard Durand and Andy Duguid.

Julie Thompson first shot to fame with her debut offering alongside James Holden in 2003 with 'Nothing' became an instant classic. Soon after, Julie had the opportunity to write for UK breaks act the Freestylers on the tracks 'Losing You' and 'Too Far' that featured on the critically acclaimed album 'Raw As F**k'. During this period Julie performed live with the Freestylers at festivals such as Glastonbury and V Festival, and alongside Tiësto on the Elements Of Life world tour.

In 2009 Julie opened the next exciting chapter in her career by writing and recording her debut artist album, 'Feeling For Corners' on Black Hole Recordings and production work is well underway for her second artist album due for release in summer 2012 with the 'Underwater' track featuring Leon Bolier already lifted for a single release this March.
